Art News: I've been rather preoccupied with things of late so I've not been submitting anything much, at all. Most of my recent stuff has been very experimental and lacks any theme or specific intention. I'm still keeping the plans for neo-noir in the back of my head.. and I've taken to lurking with my old pentax in public places, hoping to capture a gem. Alas, so far all I've been successful with is strange old men feeding pigeons and the like. I really would like to work on some b/w human body stuff.. although it requires more carefully thought out planning and flexible models, both of which I've never been very good at finding. Does anyone know if there are any good photographic exhibitions around London, atm? I'm seriously out of touch with what's on.
In other news my play is over and therefore I have been granted a brief space of calm amidst the sea of chaos that is my life. Now I just need to sort out the mess of confusion that is my love life, and I'll be back on the track of clarity and productiveness. June is really looking up for me, the sun is shining and I'm off to glastonbury on the 22nd through till the 27th (I'm actually working there), which is something I've been doing since I was 14 and quite often makes the high point of my year. Anyone who's been to glasto before knows what it's like if you manage to find yourself in the green fields, it's so much more than just a music festival. It's like being transported to another world, especially if you spend most of your year in a city like London. Anyway, I'm doing another play at the beginning of July, but other than that this summer looks to be a lot less stressful than previous years. Hopefully I'll get the chance to really work on some of my photography.. I'm currently devising a plan to construct a pseudo studio in what little space I have, for some portrait shots I have in the works...
